Join our new FREE Musical Theatre Program starting in Sept! Our first show is Frozen Jr.
We have exciting news. We will offer a completely free musical theatre program for our musical productions for any child who is a member of the studio. Non-members only pay $40 per show to join! We will have two different casts: Jr Company and Sr Company. The Jr Company is elementary school grades, and Sr company is Middle School through High School.
Annie McLoughlin, Joanna Barry, and Louise Barry will direct/choreograph the show.
Annie McLoughlin spent time with iTheatrics and Disney 2 years ago as they developed the Jr version of this show. Annie's son, Finn Dougla,s performed as Sven for Disney Execs and the creators of Frozen - including the composers! He was part of a small, private cast and the first original student company to ever develop this show. The script and music that is now being used nationally was first developed during that experience. This process has given our creative team a special insight and expertise on how to put on the best possible production of Frozen!
We will have a special guest star from Frozen's Broadway Company come in at no additional cost to you. We will also record the album with our students in our completely renovated, state of the art recording studio at Garden Street. Your child will record in a professional recording studio!
We will also take a group field trip to see the Broadway Show Frozen!
Here are the details:
Frozen Jr
*Free for members of Garden Street
*$40 for non members
*Jr Company: Elementary School Children starting at 2nd grade.
*Sr Company: Middle School and High School Children
*Rehearsals Every Thursday 4:15pm-6:30pm starting Sept 19th
*Both companies rehearse at the same time but separately
* Performances will take place at the end of January
* Includes recording in pro recording studio
* Master Class Guest from Broadway's Frozen
* Field Trip to see Frozen on Broadway (additional fee and participation in field trip is not manditory)
