PRIVATE MUSIC INSTRUCTION:

Piano:

We offer beginner, intermediate and advanced private piano lessons for children and adults, typically starting at age 4. We inspire students to learn the piano through traditional and creative techniques that ignite a passion for playing and practicing at home. We incorporate reading music, technique, ear training, and songs into each lesson.  You choose the genre and style of music that you desire to learn. 

 

Guitar- Electric + Acoustic:

We offer beginner, intermediate and advanced acoustic, and electric private guitar lessons for children and adults, typically started at age 8. We inspire students to learn to play the guitar through traditional and creative techniques that ignite a passion for playing and practicing at home. We incorporate reading music, tabs, chords, technique, ear training, improvisation and songs into each lesson. You choose the genre and style of music that you desire to learn.

Voice:

We offer beginner, intermediate, and advanced private vocal lessons for children and adults. We work with the most basic beginners who have never performed in front of an audience before - all beginners welcome! We also have vocal coaches for professional singers, or singers who are pursuing a singing career on any level. We inspire students to learn to sing by using traditional and creative techniques that ignite a passion for singing and practicing at home. We incorporate reading music, sight singing, technique, ear training, music theory, vocal exercises, and learning songs into each lesson. Voice lessons are for everyone, regardless of natural vocal ability. We teach you how to sing correctly, and reach your vocal potential. Ages 5 through adult.

Songwriting:

We offer songwriting with or without incorporating an instrument into the lessons. We help students develop their lyric skills, and music theory skills by building songs based on imagery, ideas, story telling, poetry, and self expression. We help students tap into their inner writer, and hone in on their natural abilities. We encourage students to express themselves individually, and find their voice to write their songs with their own words.  Musicality, timing, writing, and musicianship is incorporated in each lesson. Students will have the opportunity to perform their works themselves, or submit their songs to our Garden Street Live band for their end of the session concert. Selected songs will be recorded professionally in our state of the art recording studio.

We offer private music lessons for Ukulele, Violin, Drums, and Bass as well. Email us for more info of these great instruments that may not be the most popular to learn, but they are excellent instrument choices and we can't wait to teach you how to play!
