Competition Results from Access Broadway!

Last weekend the Annie Mac Dance Co. and Garden Street Musical Theater company traveled to Atlantic City to compete at the esteemed Access Broadway Talent Competition.

Students ages 8 - 14 have been working since January on their competition pieces which included group and solo dances in addition to musical theater, vocal, and acting pieces. Our students competed against thousands of performers from the Tri-State area. We were so proud of the level of growth that our dancers, singers, and actors have shown and were delighted with their great successes throughout the weekend!

Each of the 76 entries submitted received high rankings at the competition, with the majority of the pieces receiving a high gold or platinum ranking. See below a few of the student highlights from this year!

Finn Mcloughlin: Finn swept the competition receiving 4 platinum awards for his Vocal and Acting categories. Finn won 4 first place awards in Singing/Acting divisions as well as Best Actor, and Best Singer for his age group. In addition to winning the title of ‘Best All Star Vocalist 8 and Under’, Finn also won the top award of the competition as ‘Young Best All Star Performer’.
