Miss Anaya

Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop teacher for young children

Anaya Colon grew up in Blackwood New Jersey, where she began her dance training early at as young as four years old. Anaya is a highly trained dancer in a variety of styles including modern, contemporary, jazz, hip hop, and ballet with 4 years of performance experience and college training. Anaya is a 2023 college graduate from Hofstra University in Long Island, New York, where she received her BFA in Dance. Throughout her time at Hofstra she received training in ballet, a range of different modern techniques, and choreography, as well as maintained training in commercial styles on her own time. At Hofstra Anaya got to work with many top NYC based choreographers and instructors Anaya now continues to teach and choreograph while also pursuing a career as a professional dancer.

Miss Maria

Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop teacher for young children

Maria DeSario grew up in Dedham, Massachusetts, training in competitive dance starting at the age of three. Maria continued her dance education, receiving her BFA in Dance at Hofstra University. It was here that she had the opportunity to train in ballet, jazz, contemporary, and modern dance techniques such as Limón, Graham, and Horton. Through Hofstra, Maria has performed in works by Doug Varone, Larry Keigwin, Yoshito Sakuraba, William Isaac, Amy Marshal, and Liz Gerring. Outside of school Maria has experience training in all styles, including hip-hop, ballroom, and tap. Maria was a member of Nitrogen the Company for seasons four and five, directed by Taylor Wickham. Maria has also been seen with We The Female, a hip hop-based dance group based out of Boston, dancing at the Celtics halftime show at the TD Garden. Maria was also an IFL dancer for the Massachusetts Pirates. Maria is now living in New Jersey, continuing her career in dance performance and choreography.
